Inc. magazine has announced that Houwzer is No. 730 on its annual Inc. 5000 list, the most prestigious ranking of the nation’s fastest-growing private companies. The list represents the top companies within the U.S. economy’s most dynamic segment—its independent small businesses. This is Houwzer’s first time on the list thanks to an incredible three-year revenue growth of 648%, but likely not its last.
“This is a really exciting milestone that you all should be extremely proud of,” said Houwzer Co-Founder and CEO, Mike Maher, in an address to Houwzer employees. “Thanks to each and every one of you for your relentless belief in our mission to change the real industry for good. We’re doing it!”
In addition to its 730th spot, Houwzer came in at the #1 fastest growing salaried-agent brokerage, and the fifth fastest growing real estate brokerage overall. This is an incredible affirmation of Houwzer’s business model, which prioritizes buyer goals over commissions, and saving homeowners more money when they sell with a flat rate fee. By growing faster than the competition, Houwzer is proving there’s a better way of doing real estate.
Altogether, Houwzer has been ranked:
#1 Fastest Growing Salaried-Agent Brokerage
#5 Fastest Growing Real Estate Brokerage Overall
#25 Fastest Growing in the US in Real Estate Category
#17 Fastest Growing in PA across all categories
#11 Fastest Growing in PHL region (including Wilmington, SJ, PA Burbs) across all categories
#730 Fastest Growing in the US
Houwzer is in good company—Intuit, Zappos, Under Armour, Microsoft, Patagonia, and many other well-known names gained their first national exposure as honorees on the Inc. 5000.
“The companies on this year’s Inc. 5000 come from nearly every realm of business,” says Inc. editor-in-chief Scott Omelianuk. “From health and software to media and hospitality, the 2020 list proves that no matter the sector, incredible growth is based on the foundations of tenacity and opportunism.”
The annual Inc. 5000 event honoring the companies on the list will be held virtually from October 23 to 27, 2020.
